Recently we asked Preservation Program Specialist Pam Kirschner to describe one way her work helps to preserve our nation’s records. Pam coordinates with Regional Facilities and Presidential Libraries to collect temperature and relative humidity (RH) data and to coordinate integrated pest management (IPM) programs. As Pam explained, monitoring the environment is crucial to ensuring the health of our records.
